Frequently Asked Questions

Getting started

Which year groups does EduSpring support?add

EduSpring is structured for UK Years 3-11, with child-facing study flows, parent visibility, and staff tools built around those school years rather than generic grade bands.

What does a new student see first?add

A new student is routed into a guided dashboard with a suggested next move, subject choices, quick practice routes, and recovery tools like mistakes review and flashcards.

Can people try EduSpring before signing up?add

Yes. The public try page lets visitors answer guided sample questions before starting a trial.

Login and accounts

I cannot log in. What should I do?add

First use the password reset link on the login page. If that does not work, try a hard refresh, then retry in a current browser. If the problem continues, send a support message with the email address and device you were using.

How do parent accounts connect to a child account?add

Parent accounts can be linked to child accounts so reporting, assignments, and weekly signals are visible in one place. If you need a manual link adjusted, use the support form and include both account email addresses.

Can staff and tutors have a separate setup?add

Yes. Staff and tutors use a different dashboard with class trends, assignments, and analytics. Use the teacher/staff route during registration or contact support for help setting up access.

Students and revision

What is Revision Buddy?add

Revision Buddy is EduSpring's in-app coach. It points students toward the best next move after a quiz, mistake, review block, or planner interruption.

Why are quiz results or XP missing?add

Results usually save when the quiz is completed and the results screen loads. If you leave mid-session or lose connection, the run may not fully record. Retry the quiz, then check the results screen and notebook again.

What should students use after getting questions wrong?add

The strongest recovery route is usually mistakes review, flashcards, or a short targeted follow-up quiz. EduSpring should already suggest that path through Revision Buddy, planner rescue, or subject-level coaching.

Parents and reports

What do parent reports actually show?add

Parent reporting is designed to show what improved, what slipped, and which subject or topic most needs attention next. It is meant to drive action, not bury families in raw numbers.

Can parents assign follow-up work?add

Yes. Parents can use assignments, messages, worksheet generation, and reports to push a child toward a short focused next step when weak areas are clear.

Teachers and tutors

What does the staff view focus on?add

Staff dashboards focus on class trends, weak-topic clusters, assignments, and analytics that are meant to prompt intervention quickly rather than act as a passive score display.

Can tutors use EduSpring without a full school rollout?add

Yes. Tutors and smaller teaching groups can still use student practice flows, assignments, and reporting routes. Use the staff/tutor registration route or contact support for setup guidance.

Technical issues

A page is not loading properly. What should I try?add

Try a hard refresh first. If the issue stays, close and reopen the page in a current browser. If a specific route still breaks, send support the page name, device, and what looked wrong.

Which browsers and devices work best?add

EduSpring is designed to work on current mobile, tablet, and desktop browsers. If a specific layout or tap target is broken on your device, include a screenshot in your support message if possible.

Privacy and support

How do I make a data or privacy request?add

Use the support form and choose Data / Privacy request. That routes the request correctly so the team can respond within the stated data-handling window.

Where can I read the legal policies?add

You can find the site policies on the Privacy and Terms pages.
